NHS patients in south east Essex who have been referred by their GP for an investigation of their stomach or bowel should be given the opportunity to be seen at one.day medical centre. Starting from January 2009, one.day has been accredited by the local primary care trust as a provider of NHS endoscopy services. That means that patients need not wait for a hospital consultant appointment but can be seen in our private medical facility on the London Road in Leigh.
