General Clinical Exclusions for one.day medical |
|
one.day's general clincial exclusions policy is as below. This applies to all our private and NHS procedures. • Patients >140Kg • Patients with bmi >35 • Patients >80 years • Patients <18 years • Patients requiring oesophageal dialatation • Patients with known oesophageal varicies • ERCPs • Patients with incapacitating disease that is constant threat to life • Patients with unstable mental conditions/ under care of psychiatrist • Patients likely to require an overnight stay • Patients who are actively bleeding • Patients known to have C-Diff, MRSA or other communicable diseases • Patients with bleeding peptic ulcers • Patients for complicated polypectomy ie on warfarin • Anything requiring general or spinal anaesthetic • Patients previously experiencing anaphlaxsis arising from medical treatment • Confirmed Latex allergy • Patients with unstable hypertension • Patients with unstable angina • Patients who have had an MI within the past 2 months • Unstable diabetics • Insulin dependant diabetics |
